Without the constraints imposed by formal training, Denise has developed her own skill and techniques. She combines these with her innate abilities and unique perception. The intent has always been to persuade the viewer to connect with the painting. She portrays her subjects with a skilled hand and a passionate vision, revealing a bit of her self in each painting. Her website features fine art in various mediums. Denise works primarily in watercolors, and pastels. She is often commissioned to do original paintings for collectors all over the world.  Denise's art has been published on the cover of "A Halloween How-to," by
Lesley Bannatyne with her original illustrations inside. It is one of Amazon’s top selling Halloween books (they say the cover sells the book).
This book has sold out 2 printings at the publisher. Denise has sold her art on Ebay for 9 years with many satisfied customers. Her completed auctions are in the hundreds with many repeat buyers. She paints Haunted House Portraits for people throughout the year and in many parts of the world. She has created original paintings for collectors, reaching such places as England and Sweden as well as most of the 50 states. Her mailing list is comprised of hundreds of art fans that are interested in being informed of her next creation.  Denise's images adorn holiday cards. These cards are handcrafted and produced to her high standards. So many of her patrons would rather frame them instead of send them as holiday greetings. These cards sell quickly at local stores and branching out to other states is in the works.  |
